The Pyare Lal Karnail Singh Memorial Charitable Trust, established in July 2007 by, Mr Inderjit Brar, Chairman of the ZANDERS group, has been undertaking the following social works in various areas in Punjab (INDIA):
Drug De-addiction Camps: In order to motivate the youngsters in the countryside to give up drugs, the trust organizes de-addiction camps and sports activities at the village level. Not only does the trust help the needy in de-addiction, they also help in finding a suitable job for them after their vocational training.
Empowering Shakti: The trust is operating a number of vocational training centers that provide vocational training to the needy women free of cost with a view of making them self-reliant. On successful completion of the training they are assisted in finding a job.
